I started this project a while back with the kind permission of Sixty Driver who made the original masters and Steve of Panzerwerks who loaned them to me. With the announcement of the new Metal Dingo from Westfront Armor I sidelined it and was hoping to pick one up and do a detail job on it. Unfortunately the cost and level of detailed being provided for it meant it wasn't going to be for me. So, on with my own!

The Dingo is nearing completion, only a few more parts to make!
Progress so far on the Dingo, New wheel masters from Crusader cast and fitted and I can now finish the steering parts. No 19 Set from Steve at Panzerwerks also cast.
The Dingo so far
Resin cast parts so far
Surface texture added ahead of making moulds for the main body panels
Springs fitted too
Last look all clean and white, tomorrow I go to work with the Mr Surfacer 500.....................
First basic chassis cast and assembled. There are a few pieces still to make that will be fitted to the various location holes in the chassis rails.
More work on the chassis rails today. I'm going to mould these so I can assemble the chassis before I make any more detail parts for this area. I will also be making the remaining moulds for the 17 Pdr Pheasant parts so once the new metal pieces arrive I can finish that build.
No actual model making today as Saturdays are normally taken up with casting for orders. That does however mean I have a full set of the primary suspension parts and hubs etc.I can start adding location points and detail to the chassis sides now.
More work on the suspension tonight. I am adding some detail to parts and new bits but I want this model to keep as much of Sixty Drivers original Dingo as possible. I've ordered some sample compression springs which hopefully will fit the suspension although this will be a static model.
A little work on the engine cover and supports tonight. Engine cover is just rough cut and glued together. It will be left to dry overnight before I start shaping the outer edges etc tomorrow.
Both front mudguards now done and its starting to look a little more Dingo like
Front mudguards coming together. Still a fair bit to do to them but test fitting to make sure they sit properly before I go to far.
